JGME Is Going “Green”. Readers Will Need to Opt In to Receive a Print Issue
Beginning with the August 2018 issue, current recipients of JGME will need to opt in if they want to continue to receive the print issue. Online access to JGME will remain the same. To continue receiving print issues, e-mail jgme@acgme.orgwith the following: full name; role (program director, designated institutional official, etc.); program/institution; mailing address; and business e-mail.
JGME Open Call for Peer Reviewers (Opportunity for Scholarly Activity)
JGME is looking for peer reviewers with experience in graduate medical education. Peer reviewers evaluate a manuscript submitted to JGME for scientific merit, including whether it addresses a topic of interest and relevance to the journal’s audience, connection with existing literature/best practices in the field, methodological rigor, and whether the quality and clarity of the writing is generally acceptable. The review process for JGME is single blind, and reviewers remain anonymous (with the option to sign their name with comments to the authors). Peer review is a form of scholarly activity, and benefits the larger academic community. JGME peer reviewers and top peer reviewers are recognized annually by the publication.  Visit the JGME website for more information.
