Review Committee Updates

Transitional Year Committee
Request for Initial Comment
The Review Committee will start soon a major revision of the Program Requirements and requests comments about the overall purpose and benefit of transitional year programs, as well as recommendations for requirement changes. Provide input using this form by July 31, 2018. The form can be completed anonymously, and responses can be saved to make future edits or revisions. E-mail questions to Executive Director Cheryl Gross.

Dermatology Committee
The Review Committee is seeking nominations for its next resident member. Criteria for selection and other membership and nomination requirement details can be found here. E-mail questions to Associate Executive Director Sandra Benitez. Nominations will be accepted until August 16, 2018.
Neurology Committee

Osteopathic Principles Committee (Osteopathic Recognition)
The Recognition Committee is seeking nominations for a public member.

Obstetrics and Gynecology Committee
Gynocologic Oncology Case Log Updating Late July
The ACGME Case Log Team is working on significant changes to the Gynecologic Oncology Case Log System that will make logging cases easier and ensure essential information about fellows’ experiences is being captured. Changes should be finalized by the end of July.
Until then, fellows should continue to log as outlined in Case Log Instructions: Gynecologic Oncology. Existing Case Log data will be assimilated into the new Case Log organization. The Review Committee will keep programs updated through e-Communication. E-mail questions to Executive Director Kathleen Quinn-Leering.

New Required Block Diagram Format
Beginning July 1, 2018 the Review Committee will require the use of a new block diagram format. Examples and the fillable form are available on the Documents and Resources page of the Obstetrics and Gynecology section of the ACGME website. E-mail questions to Associate Executive Director Jenny Campbell.

Case Log Utilization by Transitioning AOA Programs
